When will my application be seen by the hiring managers?  Once you submit your application it is immediately available for review by our hiring managers.

How do I contact the Hiring Manager regarding the position for which I am applying?  We receive a large volume of applications. If you are selected for an interview, the hiring manager will contact you. If you have specific details you wish to share with the hiring manager, you may want to include a cover letter with your resume or application.

How can I check the status of my application?  You will receive a confirmation email notifying you that your application has been submitted. Once the hiring manager reviews all applications, emails will be sent to everyone updating them on their status. Due to the number of applications and resumes received, we are not able to provide individual updates.

About the Human Resources Department

The Park Board Human Resources Department leads the organization in the design, implementation and evaluation of human resource policies, procedures and practices. Among its functions are employee recruiting, hiring, training, professional development, benefits administration and keeping up with current legislation.

The Human Resources Department plays an important role in the Park Board’s efforts to foster accountability and transparency among employees, residents and stakeholders.
